GDPR – Management of your address and purchase information here at Sea Fishing Tackle Scandinavia AB
On May 25, 2018, the GDPR came into force. It is a common law that will make the same rules apply throughout Europe. GDPR replaces the Personal Data Act (PUL), which has been a Swedish law since 1988. Sea Fishing Tackle Scandinavia AB is responsible for the processing of personal data that you have provided to us as a customer and these are processed by us in order to administer your purchases. Sea Fishing Tackle Scandinavia does not disclose personal information, e-mail addresses or other customer information to third parties, other than those mentioned in the third paragraph below.
As an e-trader, Sea Fishing Tackle Scandinavia AB has obligations to ensure that your information is processed as follows:
- We store your name, address, e-mail and telephone so that we can deliver your ordered item.
- We store your name, address, e-mail and telephone (mobile) and your social security number when purchasing goods.
- We give your address to a third party to the forwarder and the payment service Klarna.
- You have the right to be deleted from the systems at any time (with certain restrictions, such as the Accounting Act)
- We store your information when purchasing for 7 years in accordance with the Accounting Act. You have the right to complain to the supervisory authority.
- You have the right to find out where the information came from, if you have not registered it yourself.
- You have the right to receive an extract of all information we have about your account with us.
Use of cookies
A cookie is a text file that is stored on your computer. Cookies are normally used to improve the website for the user, for example to be able to adapt a website to the visitor’s wishes and choices. Sea Fishing Tackle Scandinavia uses an anonymization function at Google Analytics, where the tool removes the last digits of the visitors’ IP address before the information is stored at Google. Google may transfer this information to third parties if required by law or in cases where a third party processes the information on Google’s behalf.
