The BFT Blue Water Black Edition combines a fast action in the rod tip with a parabolic action through the blade all the way down to the rod butt. Halibut 7ft -30 lb Black Edition is designed by Ulf Hugsén, former guide at Nordic Sea Angling. This is based on the old “Blue water” series but has been upgraded with a matte black finish. The rod is equipped with Virtus Ring Lock guides and a composite reel seat from Fuji which makes this rod very light. This is perfectly adapted for fishing for large halibut, not least when fishing with larger lures in deeper water. The rod is two-piece.
