With this reel, Daiwa launched the next generation of incredibly strong and durable reels.
Thanks to Daiwa’s MQ design, the dimension of the gears can be increased by 20-40% (depending on the model) compared to traditional reel spools. This results in a higher transmission of power and the durability is significantly increased thanks to the fact that the size of the gears is also enlarged.

The solid aluminum reel body keeps gears and other mechanics protected, which contributes to a permanently smooth run thanks to the fact that it keeps salt and moisture out in a good way.
This reel is perfect for spinning for bleach, spinning for pollock, light spinning for halibut or for light tackle on a tropical trip.
