Höwk – Little Tunny 76

Little Tunny has been developed for medium spinning-and popperfishing. A medium action rod with a light weight but good reserve of power that allows working large catches with great comfort. The softer tip makes these rods good for working stickbaits efficient. Don’t let the specifications fool you, it can handle bigger fish than you think.

This rod works excellent for spinning coalfish and halibut in Norway or as a lighter rod in the tropics aiming for rooster, jacks, smaller tunas etc.

The blank is composed of the best carbon in the Toray T1K market. The Carbon disposition results in a high strength and flexibility blank with an extremely light weight.

Little Tunny have Fuji SIC-MN rings which have a very hard silicon carbide ceramic. This brings us to lower friction, so it will allow us better sets, collection, and less suffering of the thread by heating as with other types of rings, ideal for fishing large fish. In addition to this, their frames are usually made of stainless steel or titanium. They are high-end rings, and therefore of high quality. Graphite reel seat and stainless rings with protectors. It is one of the highest quality reel seats of the fuji manufacturer, light but at the same time of highly contrasted resistance.

The handles are made of high density foam with striated pattern, this improves the grip when handling the rod, repel water and do not slip as often happens with smooth ones. The first third of the cane has a lot of flexibility, to give the right move to the lures. The first two-thirds have a great reserve of power to be able to fight with great opponents. The Fuji rubber cap is a very comfortable to support and fight average fish. It allows to easily remove the cane from the belt in case the fish gets under the boat during the fight.

Comes with a padded reed cover with internal foam to protect them as much as possible during transportation.
