Höwk Hotspot 350 – Halibut Edition

The Hot Spot series is a set of rods developed for fishing in Slow Jigging. The entire series incorporates spiral Fuji SIC rings to prevent twisting and weakening of the carbon and Fuji trigger reel spool for rotating spool reels. This model is especially designed for halibut fishing in Norway!

The blank of the Hot Spot S series is composed of the best carbon in the Toray T1K market. The Carbon disposition results in a high strength and flexibility blank with an extremely low weight.

This rod features a spiral wrap guide placement, avoiding the torsion of the carbon of the blank, improving its durability.

The Fuji SIC rings have a very hard silicon carbide ceramic. This brings us to a lower friction, so it will allow us better sets, collection, and less suffering of thread by heating as with other types of rings, ideal for fishing large fish. In addition to this, its frames are made of stainless steel thus avoiding corrosion. They are high-end rings, and therefore of high quality.
